Sometimes, good things happen when people come together

Why we do this

When ex offenders leave prison, they’re often isolated, demoralised and penniless.
If nothing is done, they will continue to get caught up in a cycle of reoffending
which impacts their families, their communities and the taxpayer.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Ark Resettlement Services, a charity that provides ex prisoners with accommodation and the training required to move forward.
By hosting these dinners, we’re giving people the framework to be self sufficient;
often for the first time in their lives.

This is about doing what we can, where we are, with what we have—and it all starts with dinner.

Who this helps

The money raised will go directly to Ark Resettlement Services – a Haringey charity
that helps ex offenders to break the cycle of reoffending. They provide housing for up to two years, assess and support emotional needs, create a support plan, set goals, and offer training. Their users gain the confidence, connections, skills, and home addresses needed to find employment.

Because their housing is allocated, their risk is managed too. It helps to makes our streets safer and also makes huge savings for the tax payer. ARK makes a real difference for individuals, and in turn their families and our communities.

By showing up for dinner, you’re helping someone take one of those steps.
